A Philosophy of Caring

Burnaby Hospice Society is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate care to individuals and families during the end-of-life journey.

At the center of what we do is the belief that each of us has the right to die peacefully and with dignity. Our caring and supportive volunteers help to make this difficult life passage more meaningful and comfortable by providing emotional, social and practical support for patients and their families.

Every year, we support over 800 families in the community. There is no cost or fee to use any of our services and we accept referrals by anyone.

We are always looking to help those who need us and welcome any support to aid our continued efforts to serve the community.
