Thank you for taking a Hike… for Hospice!

On Sunday, May 5, 2019 people across Canada walked in support of the Annual Hike for Hospice.

Members of our community – hikers, walkers and wanderers of all abilities – gathered in Central Park to build awareness and raise funds in support of the Burnaby Hospice Society.

We are happy to report that the event was not only a successful fundraiser, but also an enjoyable and meaningful day. We were honored to have members of Barbara Lussier’s family present to receive recognition and our appreciation for Barbara’s incredible work on Hike for Hospice; this year’s Hike was dedicated to Barbara, and she will be missed every year hence.

All funds raised will remain locally to support the Burnaby Hospice Society so that we may continue our critical work of providing compassionate care to individuals and families during the dying and grieving process.

Thank you to the hikers, the volunteers, the sponsors and the donors, for making this Hike possible!

Every step makes a difference.
