In January 2024, my wife of 53 years passed away after a brief illness, leaving me heartbroken. A friend recommended Burnaby Hospice Society for grief counseling, and through my sessions, I found a safe place to grieve. Even now, nine months later, they continue to support me, helping me move forward. I’ll always miss her but I know she’d want me to carry on.
