The Burnaby Hospice Society thrift store was established in 2006 as a means of raising funds to support hospice palliative care. The store now provides 65% of our annual operating revenue and has become the go-to bargain shopping destination in the Burnaby area.
Your thrift store donations and purchases allow us to bring compassion, comfort, and understanding to the end-of-life journey for the individuals we support.
We accept cash, debit card, Visa, Mastercard and American Express. [We do not accept cheques.]
Donations are greatly appreciated and accepted from
Monday to Saturday, from 9:30 am to 4 pm, and
Sunday, 10:00 am - 3:30 pm.
We accept gently used clothing, books, household items and electronic items that are clean, not broken, and suitable for resale.
Because we cannot repair items and must pay for disposal, we are NOT able to accept:
We recycle cardboard, metal, plastic, glass, and clothing items we cannot use.
