Bereavement Support Services

The grief we feel after losing a significant person in our lives can be incredibly intense and overwhelming. It can leave us feeling lost and confused, even hopeless. At such a time, connecting with grief support can make a world of difference.

At Burnaby Hospice Society, our bereavement programs are built on compassion, respect and understanding. We are here to walk alongside you as you navigate the rocky terrain of grief.

Our services are available to residents of Burnaby aged 18 and older, regardless of where their person passed away.

BEREAVEMENT CLIENT INTAKE FORM
The walking group has helped me get out of the house when all I want to do is be alone and stay in the dark. My friends don't understand what I am going through and meeting with them drains me of what little energy I have. The bright souls of the walking group understand what I'm going through as they too have gone through this awful journey. They hear me and support me and most importantly of all, they don't drain my energy. Having the support of the walking group combined with being in nature amongst the trees has greatly helped me move forward in my healing journey. - EXPRESSIVE ART THERAPY & WAKING GROUP CLIENT
